I'm as passionate about wellness as I am about yummy food! Life is too short to deprive yourself of the foods you love. Part of living a healthy and happy life is enjoying delicious food with the people you love. Which is why in addition to the hundreds of yummy recipes on my blog - My cookbooks, Easy Low-Cal Vegan Eats and Light & Easy Vegan Baking both include mouth-watering and crave-worthy recipes that are simple, healthier, and gluten free optional!
So now, instead of cutting out carbs, sweets, or savory treats - you can make healthy, balanced choices, and leave a little room to enjoy the foods you love! I'm a big advocate for cooking and baking at home because it allows you to make healthier vegan or gluten free versions of your favorite dishes! But, I do love dining out and frequently share some of my favorite vegan and gluten free finds on my blog!
I hope my recipes help you make cooking and baking fun, and help you choose healthier ingredients while still enjoying the foods you love.

Food is just one component to living a healthy live, but it's an important one. Our mental and spiritual health is just as important and I believe nourishing our bodies with the right foods can help us feel our best. In addition to food, exercise, great hydration, gut health, rest and sleep, and simply to take time to love yourself and those around you, to laugh, and to make memories - are essential parts of maintaining health. Also, being mindful of the products we purchase and keep in our households matter - which is why I frequently share some of my favorite clean ingredients and products that I feel safe using and sharing with my loved ones.
In terms of nutrition - ideally, I like to aim for 80-90% nourishing fruits, veggies, complex carbs, healthy fats, and plant-protein. But, I also believe in balance so use this as a tool in your toolkit, but most importantly - listen to your body and enjoy life! Some of my favorite memories from my life are baking cookies for my brothers or enjoying a slice of my dad's favorite pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving.
